Grinnell – Albia’s girls tennis squad finished fourth at the Grinnell Tournament on April 22 by scoring 59 team points. Ballard won the tournament by scoring 137.
Ryan Little and McKenna Montgomery qualified for and competed at the ‘Blue Oval’ of Drake Stadium with outstanding performances over the weekend. Little would compete on Friday with Montgomery taking to the track on Saturday.

Donna Kay (McCracken) Guess, age 83 of Lee’s Summit, Mo. passed away on April 22 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House of Kansas City. Donna was born on July 23, 1940, in Trenton, Missouri, to Donald “Duck” and Mildred (Miller) McCracken.
