LAFAYETTE, La. (KADN) — Teams of volunteers with Parish Proud and the University of Louisiana are cleaning up what's left behind after Carnival Season, including more than 30,000 pounds of trash from Mardi Gras. Now that the festivities of Carnival Season are over, 160 volunteers with Krewe de Coulee showed up to pick trash and beads along the parade route.

LAFAYETTE, La. — A Lafayette Parish jury found Joshua Willis guilty Thursday, May 2, 2024 of one count of first-degree murder of Ashley Metz and one count of second-degree murder of Brooklynn Hill, both committed June 21, 2016.
