The Mason County Board of Commissioners met on May 28 to hear a presentation that considered how to proceed with the distribution of opioid settlement funds. Deputy Administrator Kaitlyn Szczypka delivered the presentation, and a discussion between the Board followed.

YATES TOWNSHIP--On Saturday just after midnight, Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting, with a victim laying in the roadway, near Peyton’s Bar & Grill (formerly known as the Red Rooster) in Yates Township, according to a press release provided by Sheriff Rich Martin.
