At the Park Rapids Invite, on May 6, the Fergus Falls Otters girls golf team shot a 343 and finished in second place, 17 strokes behind Detroit Lakes (326). Bemidji finished third (366) and Wadena-Deer Creek (383).

Ryan Nelson paced the Fergus Falls Otters boys golf team at the Legacy Golf Club (in Brainerd) on May 6. He fired a 73 and finished in second place. Teamwise, Sartell came in first with a score of 304, Brainerd was runner-up with 304, then Fergus at 316 and Alexandria was fourth with a 319.
