No injuries were believed to have occurred in this accident around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the eastbound lane of Interstate 40. Another accident was ahead at the 73 mile marker. This all happened around the same time the southern portion of Cordell was besieged by a tornado.

The Clinton Lady Reds golf team competed Monday and Tuesday in Blanchard to take part in the Class 4A State Tournament at the Winter Creek Golf and Country Club.
