The Cocke County Partnership’s Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the return of “Rhythm on the River,” a beloved summer concert series along the scenic Riverwalk in Newport.
The Walters State Community College Department of Music and Theatre will blend 78 singers and a 12-piece orchestra to present a rare performance of “Handel’s Messiah: Selections for the Easter Season” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, at Morristown West High School. The concert is free.

MORRISTOWN, TN – No. 12 Walters State closed the regular season out with a bang on Saturday afternoon against Dyersburg State, sweeping a doubleheader to claim the TCCAA regular season title. The Senators won 12-2 in game one and 12-0 in game two.
